Blink-182 Are Releasing Collaborations with the Chainsmokers and XXXTentacion This Week

The long and strange career of pop-punk survivors Blink-182 continues to get both longer and stranger as they've embraced lineup changes, intergalactic activities and desperate pleas for relevance. This week, their work has culminated in two bizarre collaborations as they prepare to release new songs with both the Chainsmokers and XXXTentacion.

The 'smokers, who previously name-checked Blink in their viral Halsey collaboration "Closer," have roped the band into another one of their EDM lite pop tunes. The song is set to arrive on Friday (December 6), and it's called "P.S. I Hope You're Happy."

Somehow that's not even the weirdest Blink-182 collaboration set to arrive this week. They're also going to appear on controversial late rapper XXXTentacion's posthumous release Bad Vibes Forever, which is also out Friday. They are listed as appearing on the album's closing track "It's All Fading to Black." In a press release, the late rapper's mom Cleopatra Bernard said Blink was "one of his favourite bands."

As if that weren't enough, this is all happening around the same time that Blink are expected to release a new EP that may or may not include a Christmas song and collaborations with Pharrell and Lil Uzi Vert
