It's hard to believe that Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion's "WAP" has been in the universe for more than six months at this point, as the perception of time in lockdown becomes more surreal with each passing day. What's even more unbelievable is that right-wing political commentator Tucker Carlson is still whining about the song all these months later.
The Fox News figure first began weaponizing his moralistic views on women's sexuality through the lens of the widely praised track back in August — and he's back at it again, this time with conservative pearl-clutching Candace Owens in tow.
The pair have seemingly taken issue with Cardi and Megan's recent Grammy performance of the track, an appearance they've dubbed "perverse" for its choreography and for bringing female sexuality to the fore.
"It is hard not to conclude that they are actively trying to degrade our culture and hurt our children," Carlson said of the pair's dancing in a recent segment.
Carlson and Owens went on to whine about "no more Dumbo," as well as the recent Mr. Potato Head rebranding controversy, losing claim to Dr. Seuss books, Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben and other food brands due to conversations about racial insensitivity, and more.
