Avril Lavigne has shared a cover of Adele's 2015 blockbuster single "Hello" as part of the Spotify Singles series.
You might've thought Lavigne would twist the song into something resembling the sugar-rush pop-punk of her latest full-length Love Sux, but instead she stays true to the original's pace and tone, tapping into the trailer-ready Christian rock vibe of 2019's Head Above Water.
Alongside the Adele cover, Lavigne also shared a bouncy, stripped-back rendition of the Love Sux title track. Exclaim! chatted with Lavigne back in February about her new record and inspiring a new generation of young artists.
