We're all just kids, and life is a nightmare — but some respite comes this summer when All Your Friends Fest rolls into Oro-Medonte for Canada Day weekend (June 28 and 29).

Millennial emo nostalgia will be on full display this summer, while the headliners will bring blockbuster pop-punk to the stage. Inner scene queens will have to make room in their tent bag for teasing combs and eyeliner — camping sites, and weekend and single-day passes are on sale now

Buckle your multiple studded belts for these five must-see performances.

Avril Lavigne
The motherfuckin' princess is heading back to her home province for what's sure to be a "Happy Ending" to the festival's Sunday programming. She'll be hot on the trail of her ongoing Greatest Hits tour when she sk8s into town alongside tour openers/fellow Friends Fest folks, Simple Plan.

Moneen
Any teen alive in the scene for Ontario's early-2000s emo wave will remember the impact of Brampton's own sometimes-Dine Alone signees, who recently had their monumental Switcheroo Series EP with Alexisonfire pressed to vinyl for the first time for its 20th anniversary.

Simple Plan
Life really is a nightmare, but Pierre Bouvier and co. have a balm for your suffering as the premiere Quebec-formed pop-punk band of the last 25-odd years. With the band at the centre of their very own Amazon Prime documentary, it'll be hard to resist witnessing the continuation of their multi-decade legacy.

Underoath
With 2025 album The Place After This One in the books, the formerly Christian metalcore outfit certainly have much to consider about what comes next; which, on this plane, will be Rise Against's Saturday night headlining slot.

The Veronicas
Can I get a "I FEEL SO UNTOUCHED RIGHT NOW"?
