HBO has shared a new teaser trailer for the second season of Euphoria and confirmed that the new crop of episodes will premiere on January 9, 2022.
The new trailer has Zendaya's Rue dancing around her room with a pillow to Frank Sinatra's "Call Me Irresponsible," plus a lot of quickly-cute footage of stylish teens getting into trouble and partying. Hunter Schafer, Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney and the whole season one gang are also returning, and can be seen briefly in the trailer.
"When you're younger, everything feels so permanent," Rue says in the trailer. "But as you get older, you begin to realize nothing is and everyone you love can drift away."
Speaking about the upcoming season earlier this year, Zendaya told Teen Vogue that "It's not going to be a fun watch, I don't think. Sometimes."
Euphoria's first season, released in 2019, was followed by two specials — Trouble Don't Last Always and Fuck Anyone Who's Not a Sea Blob — which were released back to back in December 2020 and January 2021, respectively.
