While the second season of HBO's Euphoria won't begin production until next year, the network has followed up on its promise to release special bridge episodes this holiday season — and today, the first trailer for the first part has arrived.

Titled "Trouble Don't Last Always," part one of the holiday special will see Zendaya's Rue celebrating Christmas "in the aftermath of being left by Jules [Hunter Schafer] at the train station and relapsing."

Written and directed by series creator Sam Levinson, the episode also stars Colman Domingo, who plays Rue's sponsor Ali in Season 1. Both Zendaya and Domingo are seen in the new trailer, and it remains unclear who among the show's many cast members are expected to join. Though currently, Sydney Sweeney is credited on the episode's IMDb page

Part one is set to air this Sunday (December 6) on HBO Max. So far, the network has yet to announce details on the second part of the special. Season 2, meanwhile, has yet to begin production after it was delayed to 2021 over COVID-19 restrictions.
