The Sadies have returned with a new single. "Message to Belial" arrives today alongside a video directed and edited by Hilotrons mastermind Mike Dubue, which you can take in below.
Produced by Arcade Fire's Richard Reed Parry, "Message to Belial" finds the beloved Canadian outfit singing of a "Last chance for salvation, End of all nations" in heralding the arrival of "the darkest of ages."
Dubue's accompanying visuals, meanwhile, incorporate found footage from 1908 French silent film La légende du fantôme, with additional visual effects by Arturo Brisindi.
The Sadies' most recent full-length album remains 2017's Northern Passages, though a press release hints at details surrounding a follow-up arriving in the near future.
In 2020, the Sadies dug through their vault to deliver compilation Archives Vol. 1 Rarities, Oddities and Radio: 1995-2019. Last year saw the group's Dallas Good produce a new album for Saskatoon surf sister trio the Garrys.
