Richard Reed Parry has scored a forthcoming sports drama from director Sean Durkin.

Per Film Music Reporter, the Arcade Fire and Bell Orchestre player will provide music for Durkin's The Iron Claw, a film telling the true story of the Von Erich family of American professional wrestlers.

Named for the wrestling hold the family helped popularize, The Iron Claw stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson and Stanley Simons as brothers Kevin, Kerry, David and Mike Von Erich. A24 previously shared a group shot of the four actors in character — complete with era-appropriate haircuts — in late July.

Arriving in theatres December 22, the film also stars Maura Tierney as family matriarch Doris Von Erich, Holt McCallany as patriarch Fritz, and Lily James as Pam, Kevin's wife.

Inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as a group in 2009, the Von Erich family's story outside of the ring involves plenty tragedy and misfortune, resulting in a myth about a family "Von Erich curse."

Parry and Durkin previously teamed up for the director's 2020 feature The Nest. Last year, the musician shared a collaborative album with Susie Ibarra, and produced a new album by the Sadies.
