Los Angeles art-rock brothers Sparks have announced plans for a new album. Called A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip, the record arrives May 15 via BMG Records.

News comes today in the form of a video announcement from a sentient mannequin head.

"The boys have really taken it up a notch on these 14 tracks, some sounding even Grammy-ready," said the head in the video. "Later, the band hits the road for what promises to be an exciting fall tour. Also, look out for Sparks' feature film musical Annette, directed by the incomparable Leos Carax and the first-ever Sparks documentary directed by the amazing Edgar Wright. 2020, here we come."

A Steady Drip, Drip, Drip will be released on picture disc vinyl, coloured vinyl, CD and cassette. That's the album art up above. Pre-order the record here.

The forthcoming album follows the release of 2017's Hippopotamus.

In support of the new record, the duo will also hit the road for a 12-date European tour this fall. Check Sparks' schedule here.
