After sharing early last month that they would return to action "soon," it's been reported that Foo Fighters will release a new album in March.
The claim comes from UK DJ Chris Moyles, who made mention of a forthcoming release from the band during his Radio X breakfast show yesterday morning (February 7).
After playing the band's "Walk," Moyles expressed, "I love that song so much — Foo Fighters, and 'Walk.' They've got a new album coming out in, er, March, Foo Fighters… which I'm very much looking forward to." You can hear the broadcast reveal below.

This month marks two years since the band released 10th studio album Medicine at Midnight, while March will mark a year since the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins.
Following the drummer's passing, a pair of star-studded tribute concerts were held at Wembley Stadium in London, UK, and the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA.
While the full Wembley Stadium show was broadcast live, and is now available to stream on demand, the Los Angeles concert did not receive such a treatment — leading listeners to speculate that this purported March release could centre around the US-based tribute event, which featured Alanis Morissette, Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, KISS, Weezer, Mötley Crüe and more.
Foo Fighters are due to headline Bonnaroo 2023 in June. Frontman Dave Grohl recently accepted a Grammys Lifetime Achievement Award alongside surviving Nirvana bandmates Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear at the 2023 Grammy Awards.
