Taylor Hawkins L.A. Tribute Concert Gets Alanis Morissette, Members of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine

Miley Cyrus and Joan Jett are also on the lineup, as well as members of KISS, Weezer, Mötley Crüe and more

After announcing the first wave of star-studded appearances slated for the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concert in London, Foo Fighters and the Hawkins family have swiftly followed up with the lineup for the Los Angeles event. Among the guests joining the Foos in paying homage to the late legend at the Kia Forum on September 27 are the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Chad Smith, Brad Wilk of Rage Against the Machine and Ottawa's very own Alanis Morissette.

There are a few familiar faces overlapping with the unveiling of the London lineup earlier today, including Chris Chaney, Stewart Copeland, Omar Hakim, Josh Homme, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifeson, Brian May, Mark Ronson, Roger Taylor, Rufus Taylor and Wolfgang Van Halen, while some additional big names have been recruited to honour Hawkins stateside.

Also stopping by the L.A. concert will be Miley Cyrus, Joan Jett, Gene Simmons (of KISS), Nikki Sixx (of Mötley Crüe), Pat Wilson (of Weezer), Luke Spiller (of the Struts) and Jon Theodore (formerly of Mars Volta, currently of Queens of the Stone Age).

UPDATE (6/17, 2:00 p.m. ET): Nirvana's Krist Novoselic, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Heart's Nancy Wilson, P!nk, LeAnn Rimes, Alain Johannes and Greg Kurstin have been added to the lineup.

As with the London event, tickets for the L.A. tribute go on sale this Friday (June 17) at 9 a.m. local time, with proceeds going to charities selected by the Hawkins family.
