Code Orange Kids Robbed in New Orleans

BY Gregory AdamsPublished Dec 4, 2012

Upstart Pittsburgh hardcore quartet Code Orange Kids let us know a few weeks back they were "fucking stressed out" about their current tour with Gaza and Full of Hell, because of the awesomeness of their tour partners' stage shows. The band are likely peeved for another reason now, having reported that they were robbed in New Orleans.

"We have been robbed of over 10,000 worth of stuff in new orleans including all our cash, computers and most personal belongings," the band wrote on their Facebook page today (December 4). "Everything we made from this tour and much more."

While details weren't given in full, the group apparently still has all of their equipment, meaning the robbery could have taken place while the band were inside of the city's Siberia nightclub. Code Orange Kids later added that "Our lock was picked and all our shit was taken."

The band are ready to roll with their upcoming U.S. dates ("we aren't going home obviously so see you at these next few weeks of shows"), but are letting anyone interested in making the trip back to Pennsylvania a little easier know that you can donate funds to their PayPal account at codeorangekids@yahoo.com. The move has already had some critiquing Code Orange Kids, but the band noted, "If you don't want to help that is perfectly fine."

In case you're in the U.S., you could also check out a show and hit their merch booth. You can see the remaining dates down below.
