Months out from what would have been their 10th annual event, organizers behind Ontario country festival Boots and Hearts have cancelled their 2021 edition.
In a statement shared today, promoter Republic Live explained that ongoing COVID-19 restrictions in Ontario made it impossible to move forward with the festival.
Planning for 2022, organizers have asked fans to keep August 4 to 7 open in their calendar. The 2021 edition of Boots and Hearts, which was set to take place at Burl's Creek Event Grounds in Oro-Medonte, would have been headlined by Eric Church, Dan + Shay, Jon Pardi, Sam Hunt and more.
Organizers note that festival passes purchased prior to today's announcement can either be refunded or rolled over to 2022. Further information can be found through Boots and Hearts' official website.
