Country singer-songwriter Eric Church has announced that he's bringing his critically acclaimed live show strictly to outdoor venues with the Outsiders Revival Tour this summer. The North American trek includes a lone Canadian stop in Toronto.
"When I approach touring, I'm always inspired by a new experience, a new way to gather, to express ourselves sonically and visually. Whether it's solo, in the round, double down; being able to bring a different perspective has always brought out our best creatively," Church said in a statement. "Well, we have never done an outdoor summer tour. Never headlined amphitheatres. Never brought a summer experience to your town that featured artists we want to share the summer with. Until now. See you in the season of sunshine with some fellow outsiders that shine brightest when the sun goes down."
The stint kicks off with a handful of festival dates ahead of beginning proper on June 22 in Milwaukee, WI. Church will take over Toronto's Budweiser Stage on July 7 before continuing to make his way across the US on the 27-date tour.
UPDATE (1/23, 5:02 p.m. ET): Due to overwhelming demand, Church has added eight additional shows — including a second night in Toronto. See the new dates in bold below.
Across varying dates, he'll receive support from Whiskey Myers, Cody Jinks, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Koe Wetzel, Lainey Wilson, Midland, Parker McCollum, Travis Tritt, Elle King and Paul Cauthen, plus Jackson Dean, Morgan Wade, Muscadine Bloodline, Shane Smith & The Saints, Hailey Whitters, Ray Wylie Hubbard and the Red Clay Strays.
Tickets go on sale next Friday (January 20) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster following presale access for Church Choir members, which starts Tuesday (January 17).
