London, ON's Basia Bulat played a well received, if somewhat stilted set. The performance was hampered by technical difficulties, including a lengthy one involving a ukulele. But Bulat's calm demeanour kept the crowd with her as she resumed working through tracks from Polaris Prize-nominated Oh, My Darling, including a rousing rendition of Autoharp rocker "In the Night," and peppered in a handful of new ones. Her four-piece backing band were a little muted in the personality department, standing stoically for most of the set. But this was Bulat's night, and she rose to the occasion.
