Toronto's Luna Liwho chatted with Exclaim! in March about her excellent debut album — was in the Big Apple this weekend, playing violin and keyboard with Japanese Breakfast for Michelle Zauner and co.'s SNL debut

The artist born Hannah Kim joined the band for both songs, playing keys on "Be Sweet" and violin on "Paprika," and both performances are available to watch in full here

Kim opened for Japanese Breakfast on their 2021 North American tour, so it's no surprise that Zauner asked her to join them for their 8H showcase. 

Kim's debut album Duality — which featured contributions from Jay Som and beabadoobee — arrived in March.
