Michelle Zauner will release Jubilee, her third album as Japanese Breakfast, on June 4 through Dead Oceans. We've already heard the album's "Be Sweet," and today she's shared another single with "Posing in Bondage."
"'Posing in Bondage' is a ballad about loneliness and longing, a song about two people who want so badly to connect but are never quite able to do so," Zauner said of the tune.
Its accompanying video is the perfect companion piece to that vibe, as she added, "No place felt lonelier than an empty grocery at 1 a.m. The video is actually an epilogue to the one that will accompany our next single, here presented out of order."
The video for "Posing in Bondage" is a hell of a lot of fun, and can be viewed below.
