Radiohead's Thom Yorke has announced his second venture into film scoring in service of Italian filmmaker Daniele Luchetti's new feature, Confidenza.
Yorke took to that site we're still calling Twitter today to share a poster for the film, which includes his name credited for providing musiche e brani originali.
Translating to "trust" in English, Confidenza is an adaptation of Domenico Starnone’s 2019 novel of the same name. Following an affair between Pietro, a teacher, and his former student, Teresa, Luchetti's thriller stars Elio Germano, Vittoria Puccini and Isabella Ferrari.
Yorke first dabbled in composing for film when he scored Luca Guadagnino's 2018 remake of the beloved giallo classic Suspiria. Wall of Eyes — Yorke's sophomore album with the Smile — is due for release on Friday (January 26).
Below, you can see a clip from Confidenza ahead of its premiere at International Film Festival Rotterdam later this week.
