Lake Perris, CA's Desert Daze, which was scheduled to run October 10–13, has been cancelled. The announcement was made on the festival's social media accounts today, citing "rising production costs and the current volatile festival market."

The festival was set to feature the likes of Danny Brown, 100 gecs, Liz Phair, DIIV, the Kills, Thundercat and many more.

"From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support. Desert Daze is more than a festival or business venture to us," the cancellation statement went on to say. "The community that we've cultivated together means so much to us and is the reason we will continue to work to find a way to keep this beautiful thing going for many years to come."
