The Weeknd spent 2021 teasing a new album, and now he's officially announced that Dawn FM will be out on January 7.
The pop artist announced the news with a moody trailer. It calls the album "a new sonic universe from the mind of the Weeknd," and teases contributions from Lil Wayne, Quincy Jones, Oneohtrix Point Never and Tyler, the Creator. Oh, and Jim Carrey?!
The trailer shows a series of spooky scenes, including an older Abel Tesfaye with a grey beard. It's soundtracked by sci-fi synth swells that eventually turn into a pitch-raised soul tune. Check out the trailer below.
