The weekend's over, so we're again forced to reflect upon the various artists who've had shit thrown at them while performing at their own concerts.
Harry Styles got yet another object yeeted at his face in Vienna this weekend (and it looks like it really hurt), and Morgan Wallen — who has his own history of throwing things around that he shouldn't — has also now joined the ranks of musicians being pelted with accoutrements at shows.
In the midst of his One Night at a Time Tour, Wallen was performing in St. Louis on Friday (July 7) and autographing things for fans, when someone from the crowd chucked their boot (presumably for Wallen to sign), hitting the performer square in the chest.
Looking rightfully annoyed, Wallen then proceeded to "playfully" hurl the boot back into the crowd in the opposite direction from which it came, shaking his head at the thrower in disapproval.
As it apparently bears repeating: stop throwing shit at musicians! It's first and foremost deeply disrespectful to abuse anyone, but especially when they've been on the road touring and have graciously decided to perform for you in your city. Just because you paid top dollar to be within throwing distance of your fave does not entitle you to their personhood — even if they are a douchebag.
We've already seen artists get seriously injured as a result of this alarming trend, and even if you're throwing something soft, you're still acting like an asshole. Also, Adele will "fucking kill you."
