Are you mask-averse? Do you find the use of racial slurs to be "playful?" If so, you may be interested to know that Morgan Wallen is going on tour in 2023.
Continuing to prove that "cancel culture" isn't real, Wallen has mapped out the massive One Night at a Time World Tour for 2023, on which he'll play 39 total dates with support from HARDY, Parker McCollum, ERNEST and Bailey Zimmerman on select stops.
Wallen's tour includes nine Canadian stops set for next fall. In September, he'll perform in Toronto, London, Ottawa, Quebec City and Montreal before moving West to Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Calgary ahead of opening his October with a show in Vancouver.
The world tour announcement comes ahead of the artist delivering three new songs tomorrow (December 2). The incoming "One Thing at a Time," "Tennessee Fan" and "Days That End in Why" will arrive as One Thing at a Time – Sampler as he continues work on a follow-up to 2021's Dangerous: The Double Album.
Wallen's continued success as a figurehead of contemporary country music hasn't slowed after he was captured on video using a racial slur in 2021. While he's been rightfully criticized by genre peers, outright banned by awards shows and blacklisted by radio stations, his sales and streaming numbers tripled in the wake of the incident.
Wallen, who asked fans to stop defending his actions in the aftermath, will have $3 of every ticket sold for US dates go to his Morgan Wallen Foundation — which a press release claims "funds causes close to his heart and, to-date, has supported organizations such as Greater Good Music by donating over 500,000 meals-and-counting, to Children Are People, the Salvation Army and National Museum of African American Music."
You can find Wallen's Canadian itinerary below, and complete list of dates via his official website, where tickets for all dates will go on sale next Friday (December 9).
