Adele Calls on Fans to Stop Throwing Things at Performers While Firing a T-Shirt Cannon

"I fucking dare you, I dare you to throw something at me"

There's always been something of a #YeetBeat to report on, but things have certainly escalated in the last couple of weeks — and Adele is not pleased.

As you've undoubtedly heard by now, Bebe Rexha was struck in the face with a phone some guy threw at her during her show (supposedly for the sake of comedy?), Ava Max was slapped silly mid-performance, Kelsea Ballerini took a projectile friendship bracelet to the face and, although it did not hit her, P!nk had a bag of someone's mother's ashes thrown onto the stage.

Forever on the pulse, Adele took the time to address this frightening trend in absolute lack of concert etiquette and/or human decency at her ongoing Las Vegas residency over the weekend.

"Have you noticed people are like, forgetting fucking show etiquette at the moment? People are throwing shit on stage, have you seen that?" the pop star asked her Caesars Palace audience in fan footage posted to TikTok. "I fucking dare you, I dare you to throw something at me. I'll fucking kill you."

After her wry warning, Adele fired a T-shirt cannon into the crowd. "Stop throwing things at the artist!" she commanded, adding: "But you can shoot things into the audience," doubling over with laughter.

If only word from the British singer-songwriter had gotten out sooner! Then we maybe could have avoided a fleshlight making its way to the stage while Lil Nas X was performing at Lollapalooza Stockholm on Saturday (July 1). No, that is not a typo.

Watch the clip of Adele sharing her sage wisdom — and going full Oprah on her audience with a T-shirt cannon — below.
