The last several weeks have had KEN Mode coughing up a number of preview tracks behind their upcoming Success LP. The album is officially due June 16 through New Damage Records/Season of Mist, but you can now give the whole thing a stream online.
Just some of the crusher's we've already been privy to include "Management Control," "These Tight Jeans" and "I Just Liked Fire."
Now, you can sample the supremely Jesus Lizard-styled "The Owl," spiked with acid jazz walking bass and detuned guitar damage. "A Passive Disaster" is anything but tranquil, offering up a skewed and sonically massive summary of a day in sunny southern Manitoba. "Failing at Fun Since 1981" is a scattershot noise rock explosion, and plays doubly destructive with its self-loathing lyrics.
