Hear the Week's Best New Canadian Music: Daniela Andrade, Spiritbox, Leif Vollebekk, Planet Giza

With TIFF having officially begun, some of Hollywood's biggest stars have descended upon Toronto to premiere their latest films. Even if you happen to lean more last-night-was-a-movie than cinephile, the week's best new Canadian music has all your cinematic soundtrack needs covered.

Daniela Andrade returns — and rides a fearless momentum — with her first solo effort since 2020, while Spiritbox are back in alignment on "Soft Spine." Leif Vollebekk also gives a final preview of Revelation before its release at the end of the month, and Planet Giza confront the surveillance state on new EP The Sky Is Recording Me: 100 Years Later, Vol. 1.

This week in album releases, we have montage-worthy LPs from SUUNS, Mo Kenney and knitting. If that wasn't enough, more new collections are incoming from Kylie V, Vera Sola, Ada Lea, His His, Marlaena Moore, and Bon Enfant.

Mind your needle-drops both onscreen and IRL with The Eh! List below, presented by Mary Brown's Chicken — all Canadian and proud of it!
