'Fractions of Failure' (EP Stream)

BY Calum SlingerlandPublished May 13, 2016

Sludgy BC outfit Anion gave us a taste of their Fractions of Failure EP earlier this year with "God's Day Off." Now, Exclaim! is giving you a chance to stream the entire release ahead of its official arrival.

Recorded by Jesse Gander at Vancouver's Rain City Recordersthe release marks the recording debut of vocalist Sean Bouchard and drummer Tristan Helgason (ex-Ghost of Modern Man, Molten Lava). Driven by "a desire to create devastatingly heavy and ultimately ugly music," all four tracks contain heavy doses of noise rock and sludge to form the band's signature sound.

Fractions of Failure will officially arrive on May 20 through Winnipeg's No List Records, and can be purchased in limited-edition cassette, 7-inch vinyl and digital formats. Pre-orders are open through the band and can be found here.
