"Weird Al" Yankovic is best known for his song parodies, but the musical funnyman also has a growing resume as a voice actor. Now, he's taken on his latest voicing role: a villain in the upcoming animated movie Batman vs. Robin.

Al will be playing the role of the Dollmaker, a son of a serial killer who wears a mask made partly from the skin of his father. Yuck!

Batman vs. Robin is based on Batman: The Court of Owls, a comic book storyline from 2012 written by Scott Snyder and illustrated by Greg Capullo. It's about a secret society that raises kids to be assassins.

The voice cast will also feature Jason O'Mara as Batman, Stuart Allan as Robin, Sean Maher as Nightwing, David McCallum as Alfred, Jeremy Sisto as Talon, Grey Griffin as Samantha, Robin Atkin Downes as Grandmaster, and Peter Onorati as Draco.

Kevin Conroy, who has voiced Batman many times in the past, will play Bruce Wayne's father Thomas Wayne. The film is being directed by Jay Oliva and the script is by J.M. DeMatteis.

The film will be out this spring, with the world premiere taking place at Anaheim, CA's WonderCon, which runs from April 3 to 5.

This isn't the first time "Weird Al" has appeared in an animated Batman project. In 2011, he appeared as himself in the TV series Batman: The Brave and the Bold. See footage of that below.
