Wet your leg, bite your tongue, etc.: venturing back to the UK for a spell, the indelible Isle of Wight act Wet Leg stopped by the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge to grace us with a cover of Steve Lacy's sad summer bop "Bad Habit."
Helmed by Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers, the full-band performance sees the outfit put a true-to-form spin on the breakout hit from the Internet member's new album Gemini Rights. They also did a rendition of "Wet Dream," the infectious second single from their self-titled debut (one of Exclaim!'s 29 Best Albums of 2022 So Far), which Harry Styles covered in the Live Lounge earlier this year.
Needless to say, it's biscuits; it's gravy.
Watch the performance below, and read our Wet Leg interview.
Recently, the band were also subjected to the quintessential Canadian experience in Vancouver: being interviewed by Nardwuar.
