Rhian Teasdale and Hester Chambers — a.k.a. Wet Leg — are back with "Wet Dream," another infectious new track and a scintillating, surreal video to match.
In June, the Domino-signed duo shared their debut single "Chaise Longue." "Wet Dream" picks up where it left off, solidifying the pair's aesthetic: picturesque pastoral settings, blazing post-punk and tongue-in-cheek comedic style.
"'Wet Dream' is a breakup song," Teasdale explained in a statement. "It came about when one of my exes went through a stage of texting me after we'd broken up, telling me that 'he had a dream about me.'"
Directed by the band, the video for the new single pairs the Isle of Wight scenery of their last offering with a potential kidnapping, Buffalo '66 on DVD, pillow fights and their finest crustacean-inspired regalia.
Court dismissed! Bring in the dancing lobsters.
