Having previously released items like a Snuggie and a Roomba, Weezer have just announced their latest gimmicky merch item: a Chia Pet.
Weezer teamed up with the once-ubiquitous terracotta figurine company for a Chia Pet based on the recent EP SZNZ: Spring. It allows buyers to sprout chia hair on a disembodied head modelled after singer Rivers Cuomo — just like the statue that appears on Spring's album cover. The product is dubbed "Springtime Rivers."
