While Welcome to Bobby's Motel was supposed to arrive this month, Pottery are now set to release debut album in June, and the Montreal outfit have now shared another new song from the effort.
Album closer "Hot Like Jungle" follows the previously shared "Take Your Time" and "Texas Drums Pt I & II," and arrives today alongside an animated video featuring a whole lot of lovin'. You can watch the clip, created by drummer Paul Jacobs, below.
As Jacobs's bandmates explained in a statement, "This was written as a love song for Paul's girlfriend. He had a job working construction one summer came up the lyrics almost as a sort of Springsteen parody, they're very blue-collar, very working class. When [frontman Austin Boylan] sings it we always picture him on a mountain shouting off into the distance with a girl out there singing back to him."
Welcome to Bobby's Motel is now set to arrive June 26 through Royal Mountain/Partisan. The album follows last year's EP No. 1, which Exclaim! named one of the Best 11 EPs of 2019.
