Montreal indie rockers Pottery announced plans for the debut full-length record Welcome to Bobby's Motel earlier this month, and now they've dropped another piece of what's to come.
Today, the band have shared a "hyperactive Andy Gill-indebted dance-punk track" titled "Take Your Time," alongside a brand new video by Paul Jacobs and Raised by Bears.
According to Pottery, the single's new video adds "Devo-level world-building" to their "commentary on the shadier side of recreational drug use."
The track follows the release of the record's "Texas Drums Pt. 1 & II."
Welcome to Bobby's Motel arrives April 10 through Royal Mountain/Partisan. The 11-track record was produced by Jonathan Schenke (Parquet Courts, Snail Mail) and recorded at Montreal's Breakglass Studio. Their forthcoming effort follows last year's EP No. 1, which Exclaim! named one of the Best 11 EPs of 2019.
