T.I.P.

'Da Nic' (EP stream)

BY Alex HudsonPublished Sep 11, 2015

T.I. has been working on an album called The Dime Trap, and while we're still waiting to see if that record will come out on its widely reported release date of October 10, the Atlanta rapper has now rolled out a surprise EP called Da' Nic under his alternate moniker T.I.P.

The title Da' Nic refers to a nickel bag (a.k.a. five bucks worth of weed). It includes the previously rolled-out tracks "Project Steps" and "Check, Run It." Young Thug and Young Dro pop up on the atmospherically grooving "Peanut Butter Jelly," and the five-song set also includes the banging, dramatic "Broadcast Live" and the sassy, minimal "Ain't Gonna See It Coming."

Hear Da' Nic below. It's available to purchase on iTunes.

UPDATE (9/11, 12:17 p.m.): T.I. has now rolled out a video for "Check, Run It." See that below.
