Fans are wondering if SZA has beef with Toronto now that the star has cancelled her December 2025 concert at Scotiabank Arena — which was rescheduled from this October, when she cancelled her performance at the eleventh hour due to illness.

Ticketholders received an email from Ticketmaster this morning informing them that the show almost two years from now has officially been cancelled, with refunds to be issued within the next 30 days.

Although she performed in Toronto this February during the first North American leg of her tour behind her sophomore ascendancy SOS, SZA had announced a second concert — once again the lone Canadian stop in the run of dates — at Scotiabank Arena for October 4.

But when that day came, the singer-songwriter told fans that she might have to cancel the show because her voice was "shot" and asked them to weigh in on whether she should go through with the gig. She eventually conceded to the advice of many to take care of herself and ended up cancelling at the last minute.

At least SZA was plenty in advance this time, cancelling the rescheduled date of December 5, 2025, nearly two years in advance. No reason was given for the cancellation.
