The Super Bowl isn't until February 9, but one of the special guests for Kendrick Lamar's Halftime Show performance has already been revealed. Today, he's shared that his collaborator and upcoming tourmate SZA will join him on the Caesars Superdome field.
A video shared by Halftime Show sponsor Apple Music shows Kendrick talking on the phone about getting a guest performer, only to end with an AI video of SZA dumping a bucket of blue Gatorade on him. With news this good, there had to be a catch.
SZA and Kendrick popped up on each other's recent albums, with SZA lending her voice to "Luther" and "Gloria" off GNX. Kendrick likewise lent a bar to the SOS Deluxe: Lana track "30 for 30."
