Former Beatle and All Starr Band leader Ringo Starr has put his North American tour on pause as he recovers from COVID.
UPDATE (10/14, 12:29 p.m. ET): Starr has outright cancelled all remaining dates of his North American tour — including performances in San Jose, Paso Robles, Los Angeles and Mexico City — after testing positive for COVID once again.
The musician had cancelled his appearances at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo, MI, and Mystic Lake Casino in Prior Lake, MN, in October over an unspecified ailment, which was deemed not COVID at the time.
The BBC later reported that the 82-year-old had contracted the virus and that "the tour will be on hold."
The Canada Life Centre confirmed that his performance in Winnipeg on October 4 is cancelled. Billboard has additionally confirmed the cancellation of four more Canadian shows in Saskatoon, Lethbridge, Abbotsford and Penticton.
