Ba-boom!

It's officially giving season and, in the music world, there's no better gift giver than Nardwuar the Human Serviette. In his new interview with PinkPantheress, his present for her was so good that it netted him a producer credit.

The famously all-knowing journalist gave his latest guest a vinyl record of East African folk music collected by ethnomusicologist Alan Lomax in homage to her mother's Kenyan heritage, and, when he suggested one of the tracks from the LP might make for a good sample, she said, "Yeah, thank you! You want a producer cut? You got it."

In true Human Serviette fashion, Nardwuar responded with a simple "Ba-boom!"

Seeing as it's only been a couple of weeks since PinkPantheress shared her sophomore album Heaven knows, it might be a while until we get the potential Nardwuar contribution, if it happens at all, but we'll be keeping an eye out nonetheless.

The pair's conversation went down in L.A. ahead of the rising pop star's Camp Flog Gnaw set, which, as we now know, was interrupted by an Irish jigger

In the rest of the interview, PinkPantheress does her best Nardwuar impression, explains the streets' love for him, recalls getting hit by a phone on stage in a particularly nasty case of the Yeet Beat and more. Check it out in its entirety below.
