People Under The Stairs Tour North America, Release <i>Fun DMC</i>

L.A.’s laid-back, vinyl-loving hip-hop duo People Under The Stairs love to have a good time. So it’s fitting that they’ve named their upcoming album Fun DMC. Though no official track listing or release date has emerged, the record is due sometime in September from the band’s new record label Gold Dust Media.

In a post on the band’s Myspace page, MC Thes One promises Fun DMC will deliver "all the musical dope you have come to love and expect from the P.” The record, People Under The Stairs’ sixth full-length, marks the tenth anniversary of the band, who first released The Next Step in 1998.

Rather than waiting for details to emerge, catch PUTS live as they spend the rest of August jetting across North America, with Canadian dates in Montreal and Toronto and a west coast tour promised for September.
