Olivia Rodrigo is the latest to condemn Donald Trump's use of her music, removing "deja vu" from TikTok completely after his campaign used the song on the platform without permission.
Team Trump posted a carousel of images to the app using Gen-Z smol bean language in reference to him becoming the President-elect, using the song from 2021's "SOUR" in the background. Rodrigo took offense to this, and commented "ew don't use my sound ever again ty" on the post.
Following her comment, she removed the song from TikTok completely. The original post still stands, with the audio muted. Good for her!
Rodrigo joins the likes of Jack White, Beyoncé, the estate of Isaac Hayes, Céline Dion and Foo Fighters in disavowing the convicted felon's use of their music.
