Slowly but surely, German electro-pop survivors the Notwist are getting back to the swing of things. Their new album, Close to the Glass, arrives on February 25 via Sub Pop, and it will be paired with an international tour.
The run of dates includes shows throughout Europe and North America, including the aforementioned appearance at the Sasquatch! Festival in July. They've also added two Canadian stops, appearing at Société Des Arts Technologiques in Montreal on June 11 and Lee's Palace in Toronto on June 12. All tour dates are available below.
The group have also shared a new video for their single "Kong." Directed by Yu Sato, the video features illustrations from Tim Divall and is based on a true story about frontman Marcus Acher and his family being trapped indoors from the flood. To pass the time, they used their imaginations to dream up a fantasy.
