Miley Cyrus Announces 'Younger Now' Album

BY Sarah MurphyPublished Aug 8, 2017

Miley Cyrus has been hinting at a new LP for a few months, revealing plans to return to her "rootsy" country sound and sharing a pair of new singles, "Malibu" and "Inspired."

Now the singer has unveiled the title and release date for that upcoming full-length. It's called Younger Now and it's due out on September 29.

The official album artwork and tracklisting has yet to be announced, though the singer's official website has been revamped to tease the latest LP with imagery boasting frayed rope, leather and rhinestones.

Cyrus' last full-length album arrived in 2015 with Miley & Her Dead Petz, featuring the Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne, Ariel Pink and Mike WiLL Made-It. She surprise released that record at the end of the MTV VMAs, and she's slated to return to the VMA stage again this year to perform on August 27.
