Hole's Classic Lineup Reunites for Rehearsal

Earlier this year, Courtney Love claimed a Hole reunion was "definitely" being talked about, and it now appears that she and her bandmates have taken those discussions to another level.

A now-deleted Instagram post from Love (archived below) shows a rehearsal session between herself, drummer Patty Schemel and bassist/backing vocalist Melissa Auf der Maur.

In the caption, Love wrote that she and her bandmates were admittedly "rusty AF," while also including hashtags "#hole #rehearsal # tonight #hollywood."

Uproxx points out that Love even let fans in on how the rehearsal was going before pulling her post, writing, "Ah! We r so rusty. Just finding our way through songs n songs we like n riffs seeing what's what! It's cool. Af nice to be together." When asked about the possibility of live shows, Love responded with a pair of black heart emojis.

Rumours of a reunion featuring featuring Love, Schemel, Auf der Maur and guitarist Eric Erlandson surfaced back in 2014, though Love went on to downplay the chatter. Hole last delivered their Nobody's Daughter album in 2010.
