BY Gregory AdamsPublished Sep 17, 2013

Montreal/Edmonton garage rock twosome the Famines are getting ready to hit the road again, with a string of Canadian dates lined up for later this fall.

A press release confirms that in light of a recently pressed CD edition of their The Complete Collected Singles 2008-2011, the punky duo will make their way from Ottawa out towards the Maritimes, though they cap the trip with a hometown gig at Montreal's L'Escogriffe on November 3. You'll find all the details to the autumn road trip down below, along with a stream of the comp's raucous garage rave-up "Hi Hi Hi."

Along with the band's CD compilation, Famines singer-guitarist Raymond Biesinger will have a new art book for sale dubbed B&W Illustrations by Raymond Biesinger. Also, the last remaining copies of their How to Book a Maybe Successful Tour for a Band that Hasn't Received Hype From Pitchfork, Etc. pamphlet will be given away on the trip.
