Elliott BROOD Share "Bird Dog" from 'Keeper'

Following up on their lead single release from their forthcoming album Keeper, Elliott BROOD have dropped another track from the effort, now with the banjo-driven "Bird Dog."

The song was mixed in part by famed producer Sylvia Massy, who has previously worked on records by Johnny Cash, Tool, Prince, Tom Petty and more.

"Her track record speaks for itself and her name is on the credits for a ton of albums we listen to," the band said of working with Massy. "She understood the essence of the song from the first note and then took that version and ran it through a wash of countrified psychedelic haze."

The trio will release Keeper on September 18 through Six Shooter Records, marking their return to the label. The collection of songs is said to explore the strength of conviction, with particular focus on complex, long-term relationships. Keeper runs 10 tracks in length and follows the band's 2017 album Ghost Gardens
