Ed Sheeran Wants to Take Taylor Swift to See the Darkness in Concert

"I think she'd really dig the Darkness"

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift are noted besties, having toured and recorded together over the years, but it seems like the redheaded UK singer may be about to put their friendship to the test.

Speaking to UK radio station Capital FM, Sheeran revealed that he already has plans for after his performance at the station's Jingle Bell Ball Christmas show — he's going to see the Darkness, and he wants Swift to tag along.

The Jingle Bell Ball shows are set for December 9 and 10 in London, and on the second night, the ridiculous UK rock band will also be in town, playing at the Eventim Apollo.

"I'm trying to convince her to come and watch The Darkness afterwards," Sheeran said. "The Darkness are playing that night at Hammersmith or Brixton and I'm trying to convince her to come."

He may have got the venue wrong, but he seems pretty sure about one thing: "I think she'd really dig the Darkness."

Based on last year's Apple Music ad, she totally does.
