Rockin' Toronto roots two-piece CATL dropped their latest LP This Shakin' House last year, but they're keeping the momentum behind the music going with some fresh fall tour plans. The band will hit the road this month, trekking across the U.S. before returning home for a brief stay, and then setting their sights overseas.
Things get underway for the band on October 8 in Detroit, then they travel south, eventually settling in Clarksdale, MS, for a five-set stop at Deep Blues Fest. They'll gradually work their way back north, ending up back in Toronto for a Halloween homecoming show at the Dakota Tavern on October 31.
After a handful of Southern Ontario gigs in November, the duo will embark on a string of European shows to close out the year. You can see the full list of upcoming shows listed below.
In addition to the jam-packed live schedule, the band have also found time to contribute to an upcoming documentary called Maple Indie Trip, which follows French filmmakers Quentin Wachter and Corentin Breteau absorbing all the Canadian content they can and taking it back home to share. The project is currently in production, and you can learn more about it at the film's official website.
For now, take a look at CATL's upcoming live shows and be sure to catch them if you can.
