billy woods and Kenny Segal's Hiding Places is coming back to vinyl to mark its fifth anniversary.

Initially pressed in an edition of 500 copies, the acclaimed Hiding Places comes back into print on black wax with the album's original house cover art, arriving as a packaged gatefold with new original artwork from M. Musgrove.

The reissue comes as part of a new partnership between the woods-founded Backwoodz Studioz and storied independent hip-hop label Rhymesayers Entertainment, which will see the former's titles head to retailers worldwide for the first time.

"For much of the last 10 years, [Backwoodz] physical distribution network has been an a la carte affair, working with a variety of different entities on a case-by-case basis," woods shared in a release. "When the potential to work with Rhymesayers Entertainment came up, it really checked all the boxes we were looking for."

The Backwoodz catalogue is available to browse via Rhymesayers, featuring recordings from woods's Armand Hammer partner ELUCID, Akai Solo, Fatboi Sharif, Shrapknel, Blockhead and more.

woods and Segal would follow Hiding Places with Maps, named among Exclaim!'s Best Albums of 2022.
