After being unceremoniously cancelled by Netflix and later resurrected by Adult Swim, animated comedy bird-duo Tuca & Bertie are now due for yet another season at their new network home — announced just days before their Season 2 finale.
The series created by BoJack Horseman producer Lisa Hanawalt will return for Season 3, according to a recent announcement from Adult Swim, though details about its release schedule remain scarce.
The animated series stars Tiffany Haddish as Tuca and Ali Wong as Bertie, two best friends living in the same apartment building in Bird Town.
The titular duo are joined by Steven Yeun, Nicole Byer, Richard E. Grant, John Early, Reggie Watts, Shamir Bailey, Jennifer Lewis and Kate Berlant in the series.
The second season of Tuca & Bertie premiered on Adult Swim on June 13, and its finale is scheduled for August 15.
