Last night (April 16), BBC Radio 1 resident host Jon Hopkins brought Wild Beasts frontman Hayden Thorpe onto his show, and the cameo came with a brand new track from the UK indie rock troupe.
They debuted Wild Beasts' "Woebegone Wanderers II" — an airy, melancholy indie-pop gem that blends falsetto vocals with glossy, echoing guitars. It's an unreleased track that was recorded around the release of 2014's Present Tense, and as the title implies, it serves as a follow up to "Woebegone Wanderers" from the band's debut LP Limbo, Panto.
