Nearly three years after Vince Staples first teased a Netflix series of his own, he's now shared a preliminary look at The Vince Staples Show in a new trailer.

Based on the minute-long tease, which you can watch below, Staples plays a somewhat fictional version of himself in the series — a "kind of famous and sort of rich, rapper and actor" navigating "challenges and surprises of everyday life in his hometown of the Beach," per a Netflix logline.

The streamer adds that on these adventures, "anything that can go wrong usually does," and in the trailer, that means the fast food restaurant selling out of chicken; friends need bailing out of jail; family is asking to borrow money; Staples being recognized by bank robbers during a heist.

The Vince Staples Show debuts February 15 on Netflix.

At the time he announced the series, Staples shared he also had two albums he was gearing up to release. Those turned out to be 2021's VINCE STAPLES and 2022's Ramona Park Broke My Heart.

Staples has recently added to his filmography, appearing on Abbott Elementary and in the 2023 remake of White Men Can't Jump
